About this course
The Entry Level Referee Course is the first step on the men’s officiating pathway. It will help you build the knowledge and confidence to apply key rules in game situations, communicate clearly, and work effectively as part of an officiating team.
You will develop your ability to analyse what’s happening in a game, make decisions in challenging moments, and provide practical solutions that support safe and fair play.

- Understand key principles of lacrosse rules and how they apply in game situations.
- Develop confidence in analysing problems that arise during games and selecting appropriate solutions.
- Improve communication skills to support effective decision-making.
- Learn how to work with others as part of an officiating team.
How to complete this course
To complete the course, you must finish all online modules and the associated activities within the SCORM content.
After completing the course
To become a certified Referee, you will also need to complete the Referee Annual Rules Test.
